Dillon, designed and developed by Bernhardt Design
The goal for the Dillon family was to create an expansive new collection that covers multiple different categories including: training, conference, teleconference, half-round, round, and multipurpose tables. The goal of the design was to be clean, architectural, and timeless while also offering a plethora of customization with many varying finishes and multiple different power options that includes both surface and undermount power.
Dillon features a T base or C base for the training, conference, teleconference, half-round, and round tables while the multipurpose tables have the option between a 25” or 32” 4 star base.
Dillon launched at NeoCon 2025. Read more about the Dillon table collection here on the Bernhardt Design website.
I led the design and development of the leg and the base while our engineer designed and developed a new release mechanism for the table tops that flip for storage and nesting with other tables. My primary responsibilities were sketching and 3D modeling different ideations and later 3D modeling and 2D drawings for aluminum die castings, aluminum extrusions, steel stampings, and plastic injection molded parts. All prototyping was done with machined aluminum parts.
